Black Jade-White interior R-code. This car is NOW currently being restored... ALL ORIGINAL SHEET METAL !!! VERY LITTLE RUST on this Car. VERY RARE to see "original buck tag intact", "original paint ok stamping under hood", many original factory parts that look NEW and still have part numbers and date codes clear to see. A MUST SEE CAR that has been preserved well. As well as the Original options : C6 Auto, Power brakes, Power steering, AM radio, Deluxe belts, and Tachometer; this car has added the fold down rear seat and rear windor louvers. This car has not been driven regularly since 79'. It was stored and owned by the 2nd owner for over 20 years. The correct and original nodular 31 spline rear end appears to be in the car. This would be the IDEAL car to restore since its SO incredibly solid and has NEVER been molested before. This car is as solid as ANY cars we've seen in the midwest since its been stored inside its whole life. The rear deck lid has been replaced, and we believe the car has at one time had work done to the drivers side quarter panel. This car still has its original factory undercoating and has virtually NONE of the typical rust issues normally associated with these cars.There is some rust that will need to be repaired behind the quarters, but overall has VERY little rust. The shaker and air cleaner and snorkel looks great and appears to be correct for the car. This is truely a RARE FIND and a MUST SEE if you are looking for an R-Code 69' Mach 1. ORIGINAL door tag and Marti report to insure its a legit car and matches the vin number. This IS THE REAL DEAL. Build date: 12/10/68 (12M) We have the car back from paint, and have installed a freshly rebuilt, date correct Cobra Jet. We are planning on adding air conditioning and running a 4-speed instead of the original C6 it came with. The color has been changed from Black Jade to Raven Black. The interior will be as it came, white. This car will be anyones "dream car". Every nut and bolt will be replaced with new or better then new parts...
